Named as one of ROX magazine's 'Romantic Proposal Hotspots on the North Coast 500', Shieldaig Lodge is the ideal location for our eloping couples, offering you a home for you, the special couple, with up to 10 guests.

For eloping couples with no guests, our team will  take pride in being your witnesses. Choose to say “I do” in our vintage library overlooking the beautiful bay, or in our wonderful gardens underneath the pagoda with stunning views of the loch.

If you are dining just the two of you, you'll settle down to eat in our loch-view restaurant. If you choose to have a small wedding party, we'll set up our private dining room.

Wedding Weekends

In the Highlands

Why not plan a wedding weekend? With fewer guests, you can turn your wedding into a Highland retreat. Invite your guests to make a weekend of it. Organise candlelit suppers, falconry experiences or perhaps a group kayaking outing on the loch. Garden games, afternoon tea and whisky tasting are also available. We're also only a short distance from some of Scotland's most stunning beaches - perfect for a summer paddle or a winter walk.
