Gardens
Inverewe Gardens
World famous gardens run by the National Trust for Scotland are both stunning and tranquil.
Displaying a fabulous array of plants from around the world, the Gardens were originally created by Osgood Mackenzie who died in 1922 by which time his garden had become internationally acclaimed. His family carried it on and added many new features and plants.
Attadale Gardens
A lovely destination for garden lovers. Started by Baron Schrider in the late 19th century, hill paths meander through 20 acres of conifers and rhododendrons. Totally transformed after the 1980's storms by owner Nicky Macpherson, it is an artist’s garden designed to frame the magnificent views of Skye and the surrounding hills.
Enjoy waterfalls, Monet bridges, meconopsis, bamboo and candelabra primula and sculptures.
